The Address Manager API includes the following new constants:

New Constants in v9.0.0

  • New constants DDNS_GUARD_ID_MUST_MATCH, DDNS_OTHER_GUARD_IS_DYNAMIC, DDNS_DUAL_STACK_MIXED_MODE, and DDNS_UPDATE_STYLE have been added to DHCP service options when using the following methods:
    • addDHCPServiceDeploymentOption
    • getDHCPServiceDeploymentOption
    • updateDHCPServiceDeploymentOption
    • deleteDHCPServiceDeploymentOption
    • addDHCP6ServiceDeploymentOption
    • getDHCP6ServiceDeploymentOption
    • updateDHCP6ServiceDeploymentOption
    • deleteDHCP6ServiceDeploymentOption
    The following rules apply when using the new DDNS_GUARD_ID_MUST_MATCH, DDNS_OTHER_GUARD_IS_DYNAMIC, and DDNS_DUAL_STACK_MIXED_MODE DHCP service options:
    • These option can only be added at Configuration, Server, and Server Group levels.
    • These option can only be deployed to DNS/DHCP Server v9.0.0.
    • You must enable the UPDATE_CONFLICT_DETECTION DHCP service option before enabling these option.
    The following rules apply when using the new DDNS_UPDATE_STYLE DHCP service option:
    • This option can only be added at Configuration, Server, and Server Group levels.
    • This option can only be deployed to DNS/DHCP Server v9.0.0.
  • New constant UPDATE_CONFLICT_DETECTION has been added to DHCPv6 service options when using the following methods:
    • addDHCP6ServiceDeploymentOption
    • getDHCP6ServiceDeploymentOption
    • updateDHCP6ServiceDeploymentOption
    • deleteDHCP6ServiceDeploymentOption
  • New constants DDNS_UPDATE_STYLE_INTERIM and DDNS_UPDATE_STYLE_STANDARD have been added as properties when using the DDNS_UPDATE_STYLE DHCP service option.
  • New constants RPZ_BREAK_DNSSEC, RPZ_MAX_POLICY_TTL, RPZ_MIN_NS_DOTS, RPZ_NSIP_WAIT_RECURSE, RPZ_QNAME_WAIT_RECURSE, and RPZ_RECURSIVE_ONLY have been added to DNS deployment options when using the following methods:
    • addDNSDeploymentOption
    • getDNSDeploymentOption
    • updateDNSDeploymentOption
    • deleteDNSDeploymentOption
