Use DHCP custom options to create DHCP options that are not directly supported in Address Manager.
To add a DHCP custom option, you must first define the DHCP custom option. After
you have defined a DHCP custom option, you can select that option when adding a DHCP
client deployment option.
To add a DHCP custom option:
The following steps are to define DHCP custom options:

From the configuration drop-down menu, select a configuration.

Select the IP Space tab. Tabs remember the page on
which you last worked, so select the tab again to ensure you're working on
the Configuration Information page.

Click the DHCP Settings tab.

Under DHCP Custom Option Definition, click
New.

Under General, define the custom option:
- Option Code—select the DHCP option code number.
- Name—type a descriptive name for the custom
option.
- Type—select a option type from the drop-down menu.
- Allow Multiple—this check box is available for all option
types except String, Binary, and Encapsulated.
This check box is available for the Text option type but is
only deployable for Windows
servers.

Under Change
Control, add comments, if required.

Click Add or Add Next to add
another option.
The following steps are to add defined DHCP custom
options:-
Click the Deployment Options tab.

Under Deployment Options, click
New, then select DHCP Client
Option.

Under General, select the option and set its
parameters:
- Option—select a DHCP deployment option. When you select an
option, parameter fields for the option appear.

Under
Servers, select the servers or Server Group to
which the option will apply:
- All Servers—applies the deployment option to
all servers in the configuration.
- Server Group—applies the deployment option
to a specific server group in the configuration. Select a server group
from the drop-down menu.
- Specific Server—applies the deployment
option to a specific server in the configuration. Select a server from
the drop-down list.

Under Change
Control, add comments, if required.

Click Add or Add Next to add
another option.
