To add a user-defined link (UDL), navigate to the Linked
resources table for a specific user-defined link definition.
- Select the Global tab in the sidebar, then select User-defined links.
- Select the name of an existing UDL definition to navigate to the UDL's Linked resources table.
- Select New.

Under General, set the following parameter:
- Description (optional)—enter the description for the UDL.

On the Link source tab, set the source entity by
locating the object through the resource selector or by providing the object
ID:
- Use selected resource—select the configuration and entity type, then select the source entity.
- Use object ID—enter the object ID of the source entity.

On the Link destination tab, set the destination entity
by locating the object through the resource selector or by providing the object
ID:
- Use selected resource—select the configuration and entity type, then select the destination entity.
- Use object ID—enter the object ID of the destination entity.
- On the Change control tab, add comments, if required.
- Select Create to add the user-defined link and return to the Linked resources table, or select Create and add another to add the user-defined link and return to the create Link form.
