Adding and editing devices - BlueCat Integrity - 26.1.0

Add a device to your network and assign a previously configured device type and subtype and IP address.

1. Select the Devices tab in the sidebar.
2. Select Devices.
3. Choose one of the following tasks:
   • To create a new device, or edit a device:
     1. To create a new device, select New. To edit a device, select the row containing the device in the Devices table, then select Edit in the expanded details section.
     2. Complete the following:
        • Name—enter a descriptive name for the device.
        • Device type—if you have previously configured a device type to associate with the device, enter the device type.
        • Device subtype—if you have previously configured a device subtype to associate with the device, enter the device subtype.
        • Addresses—enter one or more IPv4/IPv6 addresses to associate with the device. Select the Add (+) button to add an address. Select the Remove (X) button to remove an address.
     3. In the Change control section, add comments if required.
     4. Select Create or select Create and add another.
   • To remove a device:
     1. Select the check box on the row containing the device or devices you want to remove.
     2. Select Actions > Delete selected.
     3. In the Change control section, add comments if required.
     4. Select Delete device.
