Add or edit numbers and descriptive names for the numbers in an ENUM zone.

To add or edit an ENUM number in an ENUM zone:

  1. Select the DNS tab in the sidebar, then select Views.
  2. Select the name of a view in the Views table or DNS tree.
  3. Select the ENUM zones tab.
  4. Select the name of an ENUM zone from the Prefix table.
  5. Select the ENUM numbers tab.
  6. To add an ENUM number, select New. To edit an ENUM number, select the vertical ellipsis (three dots) icon for an ENUM number in the table and then select Edit. Alternatively, you can also select the ENUM number and then select Edit in the ENUM number's object menu.
  7. Under General, configure the following parameters:
    • Number—enter a numeric value for the ENUM number.
    • Name—enter a descriptive name for the ENUM number.
  8. In the Change control section, add comments if required.
  9. If creating an ENUM zone, select Create. If editing an ENUM zone, select Save.
  10. Select the ENUM number you just created.
  11. In the Naming authority pointer records tab that opens, select New to add an ENUM service. See Adding a Naming Authority Pointer (NAPTR) record for details on configuring the displayed parameters.
