Once you have created a server group, you can add servers to a server group. Deployment options configured on the server group will be inherited by all servers that are part of that server group.
A DNS/DHCP Server can only be added to a single server group.
You can add xHA pairs to a server group. For more information on the behavior of xHA pairs in server groups, refer to xHA with server groups.
Note: You can only configure a maximum of 3 servers as part of a multi-primary server
group to be deployed with a multi-primary DNS zone.
To add a server to a server group
- Select the Servers tab in the sidebar, then select Server groups.
- Select the name of a server group in the Server groups table.
- Select Add in the Servers tab that opens.
- Under General, select a server from the Server drop-down menu. You can only add one server to a server group at a time.
- In the Change control section, add comments if required.
- Select Save.
