New in Address Manager 25.1, users can create Address Manager support bundles from the UI for troubleshooting with BlueCat Customer Care.
Note: For Address Manager servers in replication, this operation can be performed on Primary and Standby servers individually to create a support bundle on the respective server. The user session must not be read-only to perform this operation on a Standby server.

To create an Address Manager support bundle:

  1. Select the Global tab in the sidebar.
  2. Select System logs.
  3. Select New support bundle
  4. Under General, set the following parameters:
    • Logs and data—select from the following options:
      • Include all logs and data—include all data that could be needed for investigation, troubleshooting, and debugging.
      • Include all logs and data except /etc/ssh—include all data that could be needed for investigation, troubleshooting, and debugging, except for /etc/ssh.
      • Include only logs and checksums—include only log files and checksums.
  5. On the Additional data tab, set the following parameters:
    • Include check sums—indicates whether to compute MD5 checksums of select files.
    • Include database analyze report and stats—indicates whether to run an analysis of the Address Manager database and collect stats. This process is long-running, potentially intrusive, and should only be enabled in specific circumstances.
    • Include database report—indicates whether to run an extended report focused on the Address Manager database. This process may be long-running.
    • Include heap dump—indicates whether to include Java heap dump data in the support bundle.
    • Include sensitive files—indicates whether to include /data/pgdata/server.crt and /data/pgdata/server.key (PostgreSQL TLS certificate and matching key) in the Address Manager support bundle.
    • Include /proc filesystem—indicates whether to capture the contents of the /proc filesystem. This process may be long-running.
  6. Select Create or Create and add another.
