New in Address Manager 25.1, users can create Address Manager support bundles from the
UI for troubleshooting with BlueCat Customer Care.
Note: For Address Manager servers
in replication, this operation can be performed on Primary and Standby servers
individually to create a support bundle on the respective server. The user
session must not be read-only to perform this operation on a Standby
server.
To create an Address Manager support bundle:
- Select the Global tab in the sidebar.
- Select System logs.
- Select New support bundle
- Under General, set the following parameters:
- Logs and data—select from the following
options:
- Include all logs and data—include all data that could be needed for investigation, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Include all logs and data except /etc/ssh—include all data that could be needed for investigation, troubleshooting, and debugging, except for /etc/ssh.
- Include only logs and checksums—include only log files and checksums.
- Logs and data—select from the following
options:
- On the Additional data tab, set the following parameters:
- Include check sums—indicates whether to compute MD5 checksums of select files.
- Include database analyze report and stats—indicates whether to run an analysis of the Address Manager database and collect stats. This process is long-running, potentially intrusive, and should only be enabled in specific circumstances.
- Include database report—indicates whether to run an extended report focused on the Address Manager database. This process may be long-running.
- Include heap dump—indicates whether to include Java heap dump data in the support bundle.
- Include sensitive files—indicates whether to include /data/pgdata/server.crt and /data/pgdata/server.key (PostgreSQL TLS certificate and matching key) in the Address Manager support bundle.
- Include /proc filesystem—indicates whether to capture the contents of the /proc filesystem. This process may be long-running.
- Select Create or Create and add another.
