With at least one IPv4 template created in Address Manager, you can assign that template to any IPv4 DHCP range. For more information on creating an IPv4 template, refer to Creating IPv4 templates. Assign an IPv4 template to an IPv4 DHCP range when creating the range, or when editing a previously created range.
Note: You can create several templates, but you can only assign one template to an IPv4 DHCP range.
  1. Select the IPAM tab in the sidebar, then select IPv4 blocks.
  2. Navigate to the network that contains or will contain the IPv4 DHCP range. You can navigate to the network by selecting the network's range in the IPv4 blocks and networks table of its parent block, or by selecting the network in the IPAM tree view panel.
  3. Select the IPv4 DHCP ranges tab.
  4. If you are creating a new IPv4 DHCP range, select New. If you are assigning the template to an existing IPv4 DHCP range, select the row containing the IPv4 DHCP range in the table, then select Edit in the expanded details section.
  5. Under General, configure the following parameter:
    • Template—select an IPv4 template to assign to the IPv4 DHCP range.
  6. If you are creating a new IPv4 DHCP range, configure additional parameters according to Adding DHCPv4 ranges.
  7. In the Change control section, add comments if required.
  8. If creating an IPv4 DHCP range, select Create or Create and add another. If editing an IPv4 DHCP range, select Save.
