With at least one IPv4 template created in Address Manager, you can assign that template to any DHCPv4 reserved address. For more information on creating an IPv4 template, refer to Creating IPv4 templates.
Note: You can create several templates, but you can only assign one template to an DHCPv4 reserved address.
  1. Select the IPAM tab in the sidebar, then select IPv4 blocks.
  2. Navigate to the network that contains or will contain the DHCP reserved address. You can navigate to the network by selecting the network's range in the IPv4 blocks and networks table of its parent block, or by selecting the network in the IPAM tree view panel.
  3. If you are creating a new DHCP reserved address, select New. If you are assigning the template to an existing DHCP reserved address, select the row containing the DHCP reserved address in the table, then select Edit in the expanded details section.
  4. Under General, configure the following parameter:
    • Template—select an IPv4 template to assign to the DHCP reserved address.
Note: The Allocation type must be set to DHCP reserved to see the Template field.
  5. If you are creating a new DHCP reserved address, configure additional parameters according to Assigning IPv4 addresses.
  6. In the Change control section, add comments if required.
  7. If creating a DHCP reserved address, select Create or Create and add another. If editing a DHCP reserved address, select Save.
