With at least one IPv4 template created in Address Manager, you can assign that template to any IPv4 network. For more information on creating an IPv4 template, refer to Creating IPv4 templates.
Note: You can create several templates, but you can only assign one template to an IPv4 network.
  1. Select the IPAM tab in the sidebar, then select IPv4 blocks.
  2. Navigate to the parent block that contains or will contain the IPv4 network by selecting the parent block's range in the IPv4 blocks table, or by selecting the parent block in the IPAM tree view panel.
  3. If you are creating a new IPv4 network, select New > IPv4 network. If you are adding the template to an existing IPv4 network, select the row containing the IPv4 network in the table, then select Edit in the expanded details section.
  4. Under General, configure the following parameter:
    • Template—select an IPv4 template to assign to the IPv4 block.
  5. If you are creating a new IPv4 network, configure additional parameters according to Creating a new IPv4 network.
  6. In the Change control section, add comments if required.
  7. If creating an IPv4 network, select Create or Create and add another. If editing an IPv4 network, select Save.
