The following abandoned IPv4 address state changes are permitted:

Note: To enable the change in state on DNS/DHCP Server, you must perform a deployment after changing the state in Address Manager.

  1. Select the IPAM tab in the sidebar, then select IPv4 blocks.
  2. Navigate to the IPv4 network that contains the IPv4 address(es) you want to change the state of by selecting the network's range in the IPv4 blocks and networks table, or by selecting the network in the IPAM tree view panel.
  3. Select the checkbox for one or more IPv4 addresses.
  4. Select Actions > Change IP state
  5. Under Target state, select the state that you would like to convert the selected addresses to, either Static, Reserved, or DHCP reserved.
  6. On the Applicable addresses tab, review the proposed address changes and add a MAC address if required for the target type.
  7. In the Change control section, add comments if required.
  8. Select Change IP state.
