After adding credentials, the next step is to create a discovery policy matching the type of discovery you want to run. In this policy, you configure the behavior and scope of the discovery configuration to be run during discovery. The discovery policy can then be used by discovery tasks.
You can add discovery policies from the Policies page, accessed by selecting the Policies tab in the Network Discovery GUI.
Note: While a discovery policy must reference only one discovery
method, you can create multiple discovery policies for a discovery. For example, you can
create multiple policies targeting different seed devices, subnets, VMware clusters,
etc.
