After you add credentials and configure discovery policies, the next step is to choose where to run discoveries. You can do so by enabling a discovery probe on BlueCat Address Manager, or on any BlueCat DNS/DHCP Servers in your network. You can run multiple discoveries concurrently at the same location on Address Manager, concurrently on a BlueCat DNS/DHCP Server, or both. Discovery results and logs from the probes are sent back to Network Discovery on BlueCat Address Manager. Then, you can view and perform reconciliation of IP addresses in Address Manager with the discovered IP addresses.
