Create and deploy DHCPv6 reserved addresses.

IPv6 block, network and addresses must already exist. If not, add the necessary IPv6 objects first.

To create a DHCPv6 reserved address:

  1. Obtain the DUID of the client requesting the DHCPv6 reservation.
On a Windows client, this can be found by running the ipconfig command from Command Prompt.
  2. Create a new IPv6 address with allocation type DHCP reserved and reservation type Client DUID according to the instructions detailed in Assigning IPv6 addresses.
