To have your DNS/DHCP Server ready for DHCPv6 deployment, you need to configure DNS/DHCP Server with an IPv6 address with which clients can communicate.
IPv6 addresses should be configured on the Service interface (eth0) either when adding or replacing a DNS/DHCP Server in the Address Manager user interface. This ensures that DHCPv6 Deployment Roles maintain the correct server associations. Use the DNS/DHCP Server Administration Console to configure multiple IPv6 addresses if necessary.
DHCPv6 Deployment Roles can only be associated with DNS/DHCP Servers that have IPv6 addresses assigned to eth0 from the Address Manager user interface.
