How to add loopback addresses.
To configure loopback addresses:
- Select the Servers tab in the sidebar, then select Servers.
- Select the name of a server.
- Select the Services tab.
- Under Server management and configuration, locate the Interfaces service panel and select Edit service.
- Select the lo tab.

Select the Enabled checkbox and set the following parameters:
- Description—enter a name for the new loopback address. You can enter up to 80 alphanumeric characters including spaces, but excluding special characters.
- Address and Prefix length—enter an IPv4 or IPv6 address and netmask/prefix using CIDR notation. For example, 192.0.2.100/32 or 2001:db8::AC10:FE02/128. If no netmask/prefix is included, the UI will not accept the address.
- Select the Add (+) button.
- Select Save.
