Address Manager v25.1 introduces enhancements to metrics collected by the system. By default, Address Manager collects metrics related to the host system, infrastructure, database, RESTv2 API, and notifications. These statistics are used to populate the Dashboards page within the Address Manager UI.
In addition to the presentation of the metrics in the Dashboards page, you can configure the Address Manager metrics service to export real-time metrics through an HTTP channel in Prometheus format. The data can then be pulled to an observability platform, such as Grafana.
By default, the exporter endpoint is the following URL:
https://<bam_ip_or_hostname>:10048/metrics
To configure the Address Manager metrics service through the user interface:
- Select the Settings tab in the sidebar, then select Service configuration.
- Under Monitoring and analytics, select the toggle within the Metrics exporter service panel to enable the service; select the toggle again to disable the service.
If you have enabled the metrics exporter service on Address Manager running database replication, the metrics exporter service is enabled on each Address Manager within the database replication cluster.
