Connect to the iDRAC9 / iDRAC8 / iDRAC7 or iDRAC6 web interface using a web browser on your local machine or workstation.

To connect to the iDRAC web interface:

  1. On your workstation, launch a web browser.
  2. In the address bar, type https://ip_address, where ip_address is the IP address assigned to the iDRAC port, and then press ENTER. The iDRAC Login screen opens.
    Note: If your browser shows a problem with the website’s security certificate, click Continue to this website. You will continue to see a Certificate Error.
  3. Log in to the iDRAC interface using the password you created in Setting the iDRAC web access password. For more information on default login credential, refer to BlueCat default login credentials (you must be authenticated to view this topic). The web interface page opens.
  4. Click Submit.
    Note: iDRAC on Address Manager 3000/6000 appliances include the Virtual Console Preview, Virtual Console, and Virtual Media tab items shown below.
