Creating device types and subtypes - BlueCat Integrity - 26.1.0

You must define your device types before using them in a configuration.

1. Select the Global tab in the sidebar.
2. Select Device types.
3. Choose one of the following tasks:
   • To create a top-level device type:
     1. Select New.
     2. Enter a descriptive name for the device type in the Name field.
     3. In the Change control section, add comments if required.
     4. Select Create or select Create and add another to add another device type.
   • To create a device subtype:
     1. Select the name of a device type.
     2. Select New.
     3. Enter a descriptive name for the device subtype in the Name field.
     4. In the Change control section, add comments if required.
     5. Select Create or select Create and add another to add another device type.
