The Dashboards page provides a visual representation of metrics collected from Address Manager and any managed DNS/DHCP Servers.
Accessing the Dashboards page
Select the Overview tab in the sidebar, then select Dashboards.
By default, the Dashboards page displays the Address Manager appliance metrics. From the left navigation, you can select Appliances overview for an overview of Address Manager and all servers under Address Manager control, or select the name of the Address Manager or DNS/DHCP Server that you would like to view additional metrics for. You can also enter the name of the Address Manager or DNS/DHCP Server in the search bar.
- Model—indicates whether Address Manager or DNS/DHCP Server is a virtual or physical appliance.
- Server IP—the IP address assigned to the server.
- Asset tag (Physical appliances only)—the asset tag of the physical appliance.
- BIOS release (Physical appliances only)—the BIOS version of the physical appliance.
- Serial (Physical appliances only)—the serial number of the appliance.
- iDRAC IP(Physical appliances only)—the IP address of the iDRAC port. You can click the IP address to navigate to the iDRAC portal.
- iDRAC version(Physical appliances only)—the version of iDRAC running on the appliance.
- Integrity release—the build and version of the Address Manager or DNS/DHCP Server running on the appliance.
- xHA (DNS/DHCP Server only)—indicates whether xHA is enabled and the role of the xHA node.
- The date and time of the Address Manager appliance does not match the date and time of the device that is accessing the Address Manager UI, regardless of timezone.
- The date and time of the Address Manager appliance does not match the date and time of the DNS/DHCP Server appliance, regardless of timezone.
BlueCat recommends configuring the same date and time on the appliances, or configuring NTP service on the appliances to ensure that they are synchronized.
A known issue exists where DNS/DHCP Servers may not appear in the Dashboards page if they are within a configuration that was created with migration XML. For more information and workaround steps, refer to KI-026967.
Setting the graph time interval
You can select the interval at which information is displayed in the graph. By default, the graph displays data from the last 24 hours. When selecting a time interval, all visualization graphs are updated to display the data collected within the defined time interval. If you choose to download the graph data in CSV, JPG, or PNG format, the graph data generated is also based on the defined time interval.

- When retrieving data from the past, you can only select a date range that starts two weeks back from the current date.
- If you would like to retrieve data starting from the current date and
into the future, you can select a data that is a maximum of two weeks
from the current date. For example, if the current date is
JAN 2, 2025 10:00:00 AM, the date in the
To can only be a maximum of JAN
16, 2025 10:00:00 AM.
When you select a range that ends at a future date, the graph displays the currently available data until the end date has elapsed.
Once you have selected a time interval, click Apply to update the graph data based on the selected timeframe.
Interacting with graphs
- Click the expand icon to open the graph to full screen. You can click the ESC key to exit full screen.
- Click the ellipses to the right of the graph name to export the graph data
and download it locally. You can export the graph data to CSV,
JPG, and PNG formats.Note: If you select a time interval of a specific graph before exporting the graph data, only the data from the specified time interval is exported.
- Hover the mouse over an area of the timeline to show graph details for the
selected point in time.
- Certain graphs include pre-defined filters to display certain data within
the graph. Under the graph, click the name of the filter to only
display certain data within the graph view.
Appliances overview
In the left navigation, you can select the Appliances overview to view a snapshot of Address Manager and all servers under Address Manager control. For more information, refer to Appliances overview
