Permanently delete existing backup profiles from Address Manager.

Note: BlueCat recommends disabling the backup service before deleting a backup profile. After deleting the backup profile, re-enable the backup service to resume scheduled backups from other backup profiles if necessary. If you have deleted a backup profile with the backup service enabled, disable and re-enable the backup service to reset the service with the current profile configuration.

To delete a backup profile:

  1. Select the Settings tab in the sidebar.
  2. Under Database management, select Database backup and restore.
  3. Select the Database backup schedules tab.
  4. Select the name of a backup profile to load additional details about the backup profile.
  5. Within the backup profile details, click Delete. The Delete database backup schedule "<profile name>" page appears.
  6. Under Change control comment, enter a change control comment if required.
  7. Click Delete database backup schedule.
