Permanently delete existing backup profiles from Address Manager.
Note: BlueCat recommends disabling the backup service before deleting a backup profile.
After deleting the backup profile, re-enable the backup service to resume scheduled
backups from other backup profiles if necessary. If you have deleted a backup
profile with the backup service enabled, disable and re-enable the backup service to
reset the service with the current profile configuration.
To delete a backup profile:
- Select the Settings tab in the sidebar.
- Under Database management, select Database backup and restore.
- Select the Database backup schedules tab.
- Select the name of a backup profile to load additional details about the backup profile.
- Within the backup profile details, click Delete. The Delete database backup schedule "<profile name>" page appears.
- Under Change control comment, enter a change control comment if required.
- Click Delete database backup schedule.
