Remove an external host from a DNS view.

To delete an external host:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • If deleting an external host at the view level:
      1. Select the DNS tab in the sidebar, then select Views.
      2. Select the name of a view from the Views table or DNS tree.
    • If deleting an external host to a configuration-level zone template:
      1. Select the DNS tab in the sidebar, then select Zone templates.
      2. Select the name of a zone template from the Zone templates table.
  2. Select the External hosts tab.
  3. Select the checkbox for one or more external hosts that you want to delete.
  4. Select Actions > Delete selected.
  5. In the Change control section, add comments if required.
  6. Select Delete external host(s).
    Note: Alternatively, you can also delete an external host by selecting the row containing the external host, then selecting Delete in the expanded details section.
