How to deploy an xHA pair. Deploying to an xHA pair is similar to deploying to a standalone server.
To deploy data to an xHA pair:
- Select the Servers tab in the sidebar, then select Servers.
- Select the checkbox for one or more servers.
- Select Actions > Deploy.
- On the Services tab, select the services to be deployed to the server: DHCPv4, DHCPv6, DNS, or TFTP.
- On the Deployment preference tab, select Force full DNS deployment to force Address Manager to perform a full deployment of all DNS configuration data. By default, Address Manager attempts to perform a differential deployment when possible (deployment of only DNS resource record changes, if these are the only changes made since last deployment). First deployments and changes to DNS zones, DNS deployment options or roles, DNSSEC keys, TSIG keys, Kerberos principals, server groups, or other objects outside of DNS resource records will still result in a full deployment if this box is left unchecked.
- On the Zone transfer tab, if you are deploying to a DNS/DHCP Server that has a secondary DNS role to a multi-primary server group or individual primary server, select Force zone transfer to force a re-transfer of DNS zone data to a secondary DNS server where the primary DNS role belongs to an individual primary DNS server or servers in a multi-primary server group.
- In the Change control section, add comments if required.
-
Select Deploy.
