You must enable the database backup service before performing manual backups or configuring scheduled backups.

To enable the backup service:

  1. From Main Session mode, type configure additional and press ENTER.
  2. To enable the backup service, type enable backup and press ENTER.
  3. To disable the backup service, type disable backup and press ENTER.
