To subscribe to events for an object, the object must be linked to an event registry.

Note: Child objects will inherit the linked event registries of their parent objects. For example, if an event registry has both IPv4 blocks and IPv4 networks selected for Object type, and the event registry is linked to the IPv4 block, events will be generated for both the block and network. To receive events for only the network, link the registry directly to the child network and not the parent block.

To link an object to an event registry:

  1. Navigate to the object that you would like to link.
  2. Select the Event registries tab for the object.
  3. Select Add event registry.
  4. On the General tab, configure the following options:
    • Event registry—select the event registry that will be linked to the object.
  5. On the Change control tab, add comments if required.
  6. Select Add or Add and add another.
