This task describes how to log in and out of the Address Manager Administration Console.

Attention: For security reasons, BlueCat strongly recommends changing the default admin password. For more information, refer to Changing your password.

To log in to or log out of the Administration Console:

  1. From the login prompt, type admin (default user name) and press ENTER.
  2. From the password prompt, enter the password and press ENTER. The Administration Console launches the new BlueCat Address Manager CLI Introductory text displays which items are configurable by the new CLI.
    For more information on default login credential for Address Manager, refer to BlueCat default login credentials (you must be authenticated to view this topic).
  3. To exit the Administration Console and return to the login screen, type exit and press ENTER.
