Use the DNSSEC Validation deployment option in combination with the DNSSEC Trust Anchors deployment option to configure manual DNSSEC validation.

The DNSSEC Validation deployment option with a value of Yes enables DNSSEC validation using the manually configured trust anchors set in the DNSSEC Trust Anchors deployment option. If there is no configured trust anchor, validation does not take place. This option can be set at the configuration, view, or server levels, and it should be set for any server to which signed zones are deployed.

To set the DNSSEC Validation deployment option for manual DNSSEC validation:

  1. Select the Servers tab in the sidebar, then select Servers.
  2. Select the name of a server from the Servers table.
  3. Select the Deployment options tab.
  4. Select New > DNS option.
  5. Under General, set the following parameters:
    • Name—select DNSSEC Validation.
    • Value—select Yes. If disabling DNSSEC validation, select the No option.
  6. In the Change control section, add comments if required.
  7. Select Create.
