Micetro is a DDI orchestration software for complex enterprise network environments. In Integrity 9.6.0, BlueCat introduced support for the management of v9.6.0+ DNS/DHCP Servers with Micetro software. To support the new Micetro integration, v9.6.0+ DNS/DHCP Servers can now be toggled between Integrity (Address Manager control) and Micetro (Micetro control) system modes. To reflect the mode-dependent differences in configuration and capabilities, DNS/DHCP Servers in Micetro-mode will be referred to as Micetro DNS/DHCP Servers.
The management of DNS/DHCP Servers with Micetro is ideal for customers who wish to reduce DDI management complexity without compromising on resiliency. Using this implementation, customers can administer their network with the signature Micetro intuitiveness and ease-of-use, while leveraging the robustness and reliability of BlueCat's DNS/DHCP Server appliances. Critical DNS operations can also be secured with xDNS, Micetro's unique functionality to offer multi-service DNS redundancy. In addition, customers can configure role-based access control for both network and appliance management, and easily administer appliance upgrades and patches from the Micetro UI.
