Use the migration function to migrate data from another system into Address Manager, or to add large amounts of new data. After structuring the data in an XML file, you import the files to Address Manager and queue them for migration.

Attention:
  • If you have configured database replication, you must only migrate data into the Primary server and not into any Standby servers.
  • Mandatory UDF fields of objects will inherit the default value if the value is not set in the migration XML file.

To migrate data:

  1. Select the Settings tab in the sidebar.
  2. Under Data management, select Migration service.
  3. Select Upload migration file.
  4. Use the Migration file upload box to select or drag and drop a migration XML file.
  5. Select the Add to queue checkbox to immediately queue the migration file upon upload.
  6. Select Upload.
  7. If you selected Add to queue, the migration file will be queued immediately. If you did not immediately queue the migration file, queue the file by selecting the checkbox for the migration file in the migrations table, then selecting Actions > Queue.
