The Notifications tab displays metrics collected related to notifications in the backlog on Address Manager or DNS/DHCP Server.

From this tab, the following graphs display metrics about Address Manager:

  • Notifications per second (Address Manager only)—displays the PNA notifications processed per second.
  • Secure notifications (DNS/DHCP Server only)—indicates whether secure notifications are enabled between Address Manager and DNS/DHCP Server.
  • Notification backlog file count—displays the total number of PNA notifications in the backlog on the appliance.
  • Notification backlog file size—displays the total size of PNA notifications in the backlog on the appliance, in bytes.
  • Notification backlog files—displays changes to the total number of PNA notifications in the backlog on the appliance.
  • Notification backlog file size—displays changes to the total size of PNA notifications in the backlog on the appliance.


To view notification metrics:
  1. Select the Overview tab in the sidebar, then select Dashboards.
  2. Select the name of the Address Manager or DNS/DHCP Server server that you would like to retrieve metrics for.
  3. Select the Notifications tab.
