While Address Manager creates a backup of the database during the upgrade process, BlueCat strongly recommends that customers perform a database backup and copy it to a remote location before the upgrade process begins.
Starting in Address Manager v25.1, database backups can be performed from the Address Manager UI or the Administration Console.
