Reconcile discovered data with Address Manager - BlueCat Integrity - 26.1.0

After you obtain the discovery results, you can reconcile the discovered data (discovered devices, networks, and IP addresses) with existing IPAM data on BlueCat Address Manager to ensure that Address Manager data accurately reflects the current state of the network.

Reconciliation compares discovered data with existing data in Address Manager and enables you to identify the changes to be applied. The following steps are involved:

1. Create and manage reconciliation policies in the Reconciliation policies page to control how data is matched and updated.
2. Reconciliation results are generated and the differences between discovered data and Address Manager data are displayed for review in the Device reconciliation page in BlueCat Address Manager.
3. Once the reconciliation results are reviewed and the changes are applied from the Device reconciliation page in BlueCat Address Manager, the IP Space (in the IPAM tab) contains the new and updated IP addresses and the Device Space (in the Devices tab) contains the new and updated devices.
