The IPv4 reconciliation management page lists information about IP addresses discovered by an IPv4 reconciliation policy.

The Reconciliations tab of the IPv4 reconciliation management page (IPAM > IPv4 reconciliation) lists discovered IP addresses. Select a row containing an IP address to expand the additional details section. Information about each discovered IP address is provided through the following fields.
  • Address—the IP address discovered by the IP reconciliation policy.
  • Reconciliation type—the type of IP address discovered by the IP reconciliation policy.
    • Mismatch—an address that exists in both Address Manager and on the network, but where the MAC address, DNS host name information, VLAN information or connected switch port does not match.
    • Reclaimable—(IPv4 only) an address that exists in Address Manager, but it isn't found on the physical network. This may represent a device that was turned off at the time of the discovery, or the address may no longer exist on the network.
    • Unknown—an address that exists on the physical network, but that isn't in Address Manager. This likely represents an address that has been added to the network after the last discovery.
  • Range—the network range that the address is located within.
  • MAC address—the MAC address of the IP address.
  • Domain—the fully qualified domain name of the discovered IP address.
  • Time since first detection—the time since the address was first discovered by the IP reconciliation policy.
  • Overridden—shows if the address is exempt from the reconciliation process. No shows that the IP address isn't added to the override list; Yes shows that it's added to the override list. Overridden addresses aren't affected by the Reconcile all and Reconcile functions.
  • Reconciliation policy—the IPv4 reconciliation policy used to discover the IPv4 addresses.
  • Address state—the address state of the discovered IP address, indicating how the address is allocated.
  • First detection time—the date and time the IP address was first detected by the discovery process.
  • Last detection time—the date and time the IP address was most recently detected by the discovery process.
  • Router port information—the IP address and port for the router on which the discovered IP address was found. If available, the name of the router is also included.
  • State—the reconciliation state of the discovered IP address, indicating whether the address is reconcilable.
  • Switch port information—when layer 2 discovery is enabled, the IP address, name, interface name, interface description, interface speed for the switch on which the discovered IP address was found.
  • VLAN information—when layer 2 discovery is enabled, the VLAN ID and VLAN name for the switch on which the discovered IP address was found.
