Name servers cannot be modified; they can only be added or removed. Using the configure name server command you can remove IP addresses, domain names, and search domains.

To remove a name server:

  1. Type configure name-server and press ENTER.
  2. Type remove address <IPv4_address|IPv6_address> and press ENTER.
  3. Type remove domain-name <www.example.com> and press ENTER.
  4. Type remove search-domain <myexample> and press ENTER.
  5. Type save and press ENTER.
    Note: Use Tab Completion to display the variables for each parameter you want to remove.
