Change the name of a DNS zone.

To rename a DNS zone:

  1. From the configuration drop-down menu, select a configuration.
  2. Select the DNS tab. Tabs remember the page you last worked on, so select the tab again to ensure you're on the Configuration information page.
  3. Under DNS Views, click a DNS view. The Zones tab for the view opens.
  4. Under Top Level Domains, click the name of a top level domain.
  5. Under Sub Zones, click the name of a DNS zone.
  6. Click the zone name and select Rename.
  7. Under General, edit the name of the zone.
  8. Under Change Control, add comments, if required.
  9. Click Update.
