IP reconciliation policies can be activated to run according to their scheduled time and frequency. You can also deactivate a policy so that it doesn't run, and you can run a policy on demand.

Note: The steps in this section apply to both IPv4 and IPv6 reconciliation policies.

To run an IP reconciliation policy on demand, or to activate or deactivate policies:

  1. Locate the table containing the IP reconciliation policy:
    • IPv4 reconciliation policy:
      • Select the IPAM tab in the sidebar, then select IPv4 reconciliation.
    • IPv6 reconciliation policy:
      • Select the IPAM tab in the sidebar, then select IPv6 reconciliation.
  2. From the Reconciliation policies table, select from the following options:
    • To activate a policy:
      1. Select the checkbox for the reconciliation policy, then select Actions > Activate.
      2. Enter a Change control comment if required.
      3. Select Activate.
    • To deactivate a policy:
      1. Select the checkbox for the reconciliation policy, then select Actions > Deactivate.
      2. Enter a Change control comment if required.
      3. Select Deactivate.
    • To run a policy immediately
      1. Select the checkbox for the reconciliation policy, then select Actions > Run now.
      2. Select Run now.
