After scheduling the validation of deployment data, as a best practice, you can add and schedule a report to be notified when the validation is complete.
To add and schedule the deployment data validation report:
- Select the Global tab in the sidebar.
- Select Reporting.
- Select New.

Under Report Information, set the report
parameters:
- Report type—from the drop-down menu, select Deployment data validation.
- Report title—enter a title for the report.
- Organization—enter the name of an organization or department to associate with the report.
- Report description—enter a description for the report.
- Output format—select an output format for the
report. The following formats are available:
- PDF—Adobe Acrobat PDF file. When generated, the report opens in a new browser window where you can use the Adobe Acrobat Reader save function to save the file to your workstation.
- HTML—Hypertext Markup Language text file. When generated, the report opens in a new browser window where you can use your browser’s view source function to save the file to your workstation.
- RTF—Rich Text Format text file. When generated, you are prompted to open or save the file.
- CSV—Comma Separated Value text file. When generated, you are prompted to open or save the file.
- XLS—Microsoft Excel spreadsheet file. When generated, you
are prompted to open or save the file.Note: Address Manager reports generated in the CSV file format will be missing the header. Generate the report in Excel (XLS file) to view the proper formatting.
- On the Parameters tab, select the configuration you are working on.
- In the Change control section, add comments if required.
- Select Create or Create and add another to create the report and return to the Reporting page.
- Select the Schedules tab.
- Select New.
- Under General, enter a descriptive name for the report that you are scheduling in the Name field.

On the Schedule tab, set the time and frequency for the
schedule:
- Start time—specify the date and time at which the
scheduled report will be generated and sent via email. The date and time
should be entered in the format MMM DD YYYY HH:MM:SS AM/PM (for example,
enter
Jan 1, 2025 12:00:00 AM). Alternatively, select the calendar button to open the calendar widget and select a date.Note: The time and date is based on the Address Manager server time zone, schedule a report accordingly. - Frequency:
- Once—generate and send the scheduled report once at the specified date and time.
- Recurring—set a time interval period and unit to send the scheduled report at a regular interval.
- Start time—specify the date and time at which the
scheduled report will be generated and sent via email. The date and time
should be entered in the format MMM DD YYYY HH:MM:SS AM/PM (for example,
enter
- On the Reports to schedule tab, select the previously created report to schedule.
- On the Email tab, select the Address Manager users or user groups that will be sent the report by email. Additionally, enter a subject line and body for the report email.
- In the Change control section, add comments if required.
- Select Create or Create and add another.
