This section details system language support for the Address Manager user interface.

The following languages are supported for the Address Manager user interface:

  • English
  • Spanish
  • French
  • German
  • Portuguese
  • Japanese
  • Simplified Chinese

Once a language is set, the Address Manager user interface will remain in that language until a different language is set on the login page.

Note: Regardless of what system language is set for Address Manager, non-ASCII characters, such as Japanese and Simplified Chinese characters, cannot be used in the following deployment objects:
  • DNS

    Views, Zones, Deployment options with text Fields, Resource Records, Kerberos Realms, Server host names, TSIGs, ACLs, Response Policy names, Policy items

  • DHCP

    Deployment options, including options with Text Fields, Raw Options, Vendor options, Match Class names, Custom options; MAC Pool names, Third-party zone names used in DHCP Zone Groups, Tag names used in Shared Networks

  • TFTP

    Folder/file names

To set the Address Manager system language:

  1. Select the system language from the drop-down menu at the top-right of the Address Manager login page.
  2. Log in to Address Manager. The Address Manager user interface is now in the selected language.
    Note: If you ever need to revert the Address Manager user interface back to English, log out of Address Manager and select English from the language drop-down menu on the Address Manager login page.
