Run the configure serial command to set the baud rate to the ideal rate for your appliance and network. The serial port has a default baud rate of 115200, 38400, and 9600.

To set the serial port baud rate:

  1. Type configure serial and press ENTER.
  2. Type set baudrate <110|300|1200|2400|4800|9600|19200|38400|57600|115200> and press ENTER.
  3. Type save and press ENTER.
Your baud rate setting is saved.
