Address Manager will use this setting if you don't configure a DNS server when adding an IP reconciliation policy.

To add DNS server at the configuration level:

  1. Select the Settings tab in the sidebar.
  2. Select Reconciliation settings.
  3. In the DNS servers field, enter the IP address of one or more DNS servers.
  4. In the Voice VLAN IDs field, enter one or more Voice VLAN IDs. Acceptable values are integers from 1 to 4096.
This parameter is required to recognize access ports in a switch that's used to generate L2 connection port information for discovered IP addresses. Not specifying voice VLAN IDs can result in a loss of L2 connection port information as an access port carrying a client device (desktops/laptops) and IP phone will be recognized as a trunk port.
  5. Enter a Change control comment, if required.
  6. Select Update.
