Address Manager will use this setting if you don't
configure a DNS server when adding an IP reconciliation policy.
To add DNS server at the configuration level:
-
Select the Settings tab in the sidebar.
-
Select Reconciliation settings.
-
In the DNS servers field, enter the IP address of one or
more DNS servers.
-
In the Voice VLAN IDs field, enter one or more Voice
VLAN IDs. Acceptable values are integers from 1 to 4096.
This parameter is required to recognize access ports in a switch that's used
to generate L2 connection port information for discovered IP addresses. Not
specifying voice VLAN IDs can result in a loss of L2 connection port information
as an access port carrying a client device (desktops/laptops) and IP phone will
be recognized as a trunk port.
-
Enter a Change control comment, if required.
-
Select Update.
