Unsecuring zones turns off zone signing, removes all DNSSEC keys, and unlinks the signing policy from the zone.

To unsecure one or more zones:

  1. Select the Settings tab in the sidebar, then select DNSSEC policies under DNS Settings.
  2. Select the name of the DNSSEC signing policy that is linked to the zones you want to unsecure.
  3. Select the checkbox for one or more zones, then select Actions > Unsecure.
  4. From the Unsecure linked objects window that opens, review the linked zones that must be unsecured.
  5. In the Change control section, add comments if required.
  6. Select Confirm.
