Upgrading to CDV 26.1 from a standalone machine - BlueCat Integrity - 26.1.0

The following upgrade path is supported when upgrading from CDV 25.3 or 25.3.1 on a standalone machine to the CDV 26.1 feature module on BlueCat Address Manager (BAM):

Upgrade BAM

1. Stop the CDV 25.3/25.3.1 container on the standalone machine.
2. Upgrade the BAM server to version 26.1.0.
3. Restart the previously stopped CDV 25.3/25.3.1 container on the standalone machine.
   Note: As customers frequently upgrade BAM and CDV in stages, BAM 26.1 supports CDV 25.3/25.3.1 on standalone machines.
4. Verify that the discovery and visibility jobs function as expected.
5. Export the CDV database from CDV 25.3/25.3.1.
6. Stop and remove the CDV 25.3/25.3.1 container.

Migrate to CDV 26.1

1. Activate and license CDV 26.1 as a feature module on the BAM server.
2. Import the previously exported CDV database into CDV 26.1.
3. Verify that the discovery and visibility jobs function as expected.
