The following section outlines steps to upgrade an instance of Cloud Discovery & Visibility (CDV) that is deployed on a DNS/DHCP Server or standalone machine.
CDV 26.1 and future CDV releases are supported only on Address Manager servers as a built-in feature module. To upgrade from a previous version of CDV, you must export CDV data from your current instance and import this data back into the new CDV 26.1 feature module instance on Address Manager.
You can perform a direct upgrade to CDV 26.1 only from software version 25.3 or 25.3.1. The exported CDV database must be from version 25.3 or 25.3.1 to be imported into CDV 26.1.
If you are running a software version earlier than 25.3, you must first upgrade to CDV 25.3 or 25.3.1 before upgrading to CDV 26.1.
