Before upgrading to Address Manager v9.2.0, you must first verify whether your Address Manager server is running as a single or dual partition system.

If your Address Manager server is running as a dual partition system, you can proceed to upgrade to Address Manager v9.2.0. Running Address Manager as a dual partition system allows you to upgrade and roll back much faster.

However, if your Address Manager server is running as a single partition system, contact BlueCat Customer Care for assistance.

Note: The following steps are not required for customers upgrading from Address Manager v9.0.0 or v9.1.0, which both run as dual partition systems.

To verify the state of Address Manager:

  1. Log in to Address Manager via SSH as root.
  2. Run the following command:
    lsblk
    In a system with a single partition set, the Address Manager server will contain less than 10 sda partitions. The following output is similar to the output found on an Address Manager server running a single partition set:
