After upgrading the container either from an image directly on the BDDS or via a cloud or local repository, confirm that the Gateway service is enabled, and that the container has been instantiated from the new or updated image.

To verify the upgrade:

  1. Select the Servers tab in the sidebar, then select Servers.
  2. Select the name of a server.
  3. Select the Services tab.
  4. Under Core services, locate the Gateway service panel.
  5. Select Edit service.
  6. The State field indicates the status of the Gateway service. If the State field shows Running, the Gateway service has been enabled and the container is running.
  7. Open a new browser and enter the IPv4 address of the BDDS appliance on which you enabled the Gateway service.
  8. Enter your username and password at the login screen.
  9. Confirm that the container reflects the updated application, plugin, or workflow data.
Note: If the container does not have the updated application, plugin, or workflow data you were expecting, double check the repository address and image tag entered in the Gateway service page. If necessary, return to your lab environment for additional troubleshooting, including verifying the file structure of the image.
