After upgrading the container either from an image directly on the BDDS or via a cloud or local repository, confirm that Gateway Service is running, and that the container has been instantiated from the new or updated image.

To verify the upgrade:

  1. From the Service Type drop-down menu, select BlueCat Gateway.
  2. Scroll down to view the Gateway Status section. You can find the status of the service under the Status and Description fields.
If the Status field shows RUNNING, Gateway Service has been enabled and the container is running.
  3. Open a new browser and enter the IPv4 address of the BDDS appliance on which you enabled Gateway Service.
  4. Enter your username and password at the login screen.
  5. Confirm that the container reflects the updated application, plugin, or workflow data.
Note: If the container does not have the updated application, plugin, or workflow data you were expecting, double check the repository address and image tag entered in the Gateway Service page. If necessary, return to your lab environment for additional troubleshooting, including verifying the file structure of the image.
