You can view and download logs for discovery probes enabled on BlueCat Address Manager as well as any BlueCat DNS/DHCP Servers in your network.

View probe log details

  1. Select the Probe logs tab in the Network Discovery and Visibility GUI.
  2. From the drop-down list, select Address Manager or a BlueCat DNS/DHCP Server on which the discovery probe (for which you want to view the logs) is enabled.
    The available logs for the probe are displayed in the table.
  3. To view detailed logs, select the name of a log. Alternatively. select the vertical ellipsis icon for the log, then select View details.
    The detailed logs are displayed in the expanded details section.

Download probe logs

  1. To download a specific probe log file, do one of the following:
    1. Select the probe log name, then select Download log in the expanded details section.
    2. Select the vertical ellipsis icon for the probe log, then select Download.
    A confirmation window appears, asking you to confirm the download.
  2. Select Download again.
    The selected probe log is successfully downloaded as a zip file to your local system.
