Add or edit the storage device settings for your BlueCat DNS for AWSBlueCat AWS Virtual Appliances.

Address Manager and BlueCat DNS for AWS instances require the following disk space storage:
  • BlueCat DNS—160 GB
  • Address Manager—320 GB

To define storage settings:

  1. Under the Size (GiB) column, ensure that the required minimum storage size has been specified depending on the type of virtual appliance that you are launching.

    The default storage size is 160 GB for BlueCat DNS for AWS and 320GB for Address Manager. BlueCat recommends not changing the default size.

    Note: As a best practice, BlueCat also recommends selecting the Delete on Termination option.
  2. Click Next: Tag Instance.
