Set the Virtual Network, subnets, and IP addresses for the service and Dedicated Management interfaces.
There are two options for defining network settings for your Azure Resource Template:
- Creating a new Virtual Network: If you create a new Virtual Network, you will also need to create new subnets. Ensure that the Service interface and Dedicated Management interface are on different subnets.
- Selecting an existing Virtual Network: If you select an existing Virtual Network, you must also select existing subnets; you cannot create new subnets.
BlueCat recommends that all customers configure IP addresses for the Service
interface and the Dedicated Management interface regardless of the need for Dedicated
Management in their environment. If you require Dedicated Management in the future, the
interface will be configured and you will not need to reboot the VM in order to add the
Dedicated Management interface.
Note: The Dedicated Management interface of your Azure
Resource Template will be mapped to the Management interface (eth2) on your
BlueCat Azure Virtual Appliances VM.
