Set the size, storage account, and monitoring settings for your BlueCat DNS for Microsoft Azure Resource Template.

BlueCat recommends one of the following sizes for your BlueCat DNS for Microsoft Azure Resource Template:
  • Standard_D2_V2
  • Standard_DS2_V2
  • Standard_D2
  • Standard_DS2
    Note: For more information, refer to Requirements.

To configure Resource Template system settings:

  1. Click Size then choose either Standard_D2_V2, Standard_DS2_V2, Standard_D2, or Standard_D2 then click Select.
  2. Click Storage Account then choose the Azure storage account associated with the subscription and location you selected in Basic settings.
    Note: OPTIONAL: Click Create New to create a new Azure storage account then enter the account name, choose Standard or Premium performance, select the Replication type then click OK.
  3. Click Diagnostics Storage Account then choose the diagnostics storage account associated with the subscription and location you selected in Basic settings. This diagnostics storage account must be different than the storage account for your VM.
    Note: OPTIONAL: Click Create New to create a new Diagnostics Storage Account then enter the account name, choose Standard or Premium performance, select the Replication type then click OK.
  4. Click OK.
